Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master (DASSM) Course

The British Academy for Training and Development offers the Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master (DASSM) Course. Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master (DASSM) Course is designed for agile practitioners who lead multiple teams to optimise their deliveries using advanced principles of Disciplined Agile (DA). It is a foundation of DA roles and responsibilities that allow attendees to participate confidently in team dynamics, create emotional intelligence and eventually an agile mindset. The course will explore the stages of developing a team from formation to performance and how leaders can help to get a team through each of those phases. The course also seeks to equip attendees with skills on conflict resolution, decision-making techniques, and techniques of agile facilitation, which will improve the performance of teams.  Attendees will receive value stream improvement, guiding them in assessing their processes and channeling changes into becoming quicker and better. Also, the course brings to the students tools for metrics-based decision making where all progress is quantifiable and aligned with the strategy. Special treatment is applied to agile project planning in all its cycles of execution, Lean, Agile, and Mixed methods.  Risk management, escalation methods, and governance within agile environments are also addressed in this course but in the enterprise-wide context of agility. Attendees will be taught how to work through guided continuous improvement, which facilitates iterative and sustainable change. They will leave the course equipped to undertake even the most complex delivery environments and support their organisation in improving and mentoring others in Disciplined Agile ways of working.
