The British Academy for Training and Development presents this training course in (Information Technology Applications in Spatial Planning) for all those who wish to acquire skills in using computers in Spatial activities.  The concept of spatial planning emerged in the 2nd half of the 19th century, in line with the industrial revolution, and began to take the form of full comprehensive field in the middle of the 20th century. Spatial Planning is an interdisciplinary field where professionals work with geographers, architects, landscape designers, construction managers, environmentalists and economists to create and reinvent sustainable communities and places for citizens to live, work and play. Urban Planners engage in policy and practice related to housing, economic and commercial development, culture and recreation, environmental protection and the livable and sustainable development of places and spaces for people.
