Peparation for ICAgile Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC) Certificate

The British Academy for Training and Development offers the ICAgile Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC) Course. This programme will train individuals becoming an appropriate Agile Coach focusing on human and team development. Courses are set to begin cultivating the Agile Coaching mindset, which includes internalising and reflecting Agile principles and values through coaching practice. It will be looking into professional coaching skills that will help learn active listening, powerful questioning, and goal setting, to support and empower others. The course covers all forms of mentorship for Agile roles, from Scrum Masters to Product Owners and even Agile teams in the whole spectrum of their development. In the section on serving the development team, attendees discover techniques to foster high performance and encourage self-organisation within teams.  Part of the training is being skilled in facilitating Agile practices, where attendees gain practical tools to lead Agile ceremonies, hold meaningful retrospectives, or manage collaborative planning sessions. Another topic is coaching the journey towards high performance.  These modules also enable attendees to deal with organisational conflicts as they can address issues such as those dealing with conflict and dysfunctional behavior among team members by instituting psychological safety, managing conflict, and helping mitigate dysfunctional behavior. This course finally emphasizes ethics and professionalism into the coaching practice of agile with respect to the values of confidentiality, integrity, and continuing personal development. After finishing the ICP-ACC course, attendees have the mindset, instruments, and competencies to lead teams and transformations within the organisation itself in a meaningful and sustainable way to Agile.
