Information Systems and their Applications

The British Academy for Training and Development presents a training course on Information Systems (IS) and their Applications. This course is provided through scientific experience and an integrated practical curriculum which collects theoretical information and their practical applications. Information Systems Management (ISM) is not an easy job, but it requires clear methodology, and recognizing the multinational best adopted practices used in managing various Information Systems (IS). In other words, each system has a specific methodology and a definite practice in management. Information Systems Management (ISM) is usually used as an equivalent term to Computer Information Systems (IS). But this is wrong since Computer Information Systems (IS) is a form of information technology and one of the elements of Information Systems. Computer Information Systems are part of the Information Technology Study. However, a distinction must be made between Computer Information Systems and Information Systems (IS) which include them. Nowadays, Information and Information Technology have become one of the important primary resources and machinery. There are many companies which have currently adopted Information Management Systems.
